Play Therapy

“Play Therapy is The systematic use of a theoretical model to establish an interpersonal process wherein trained Play Therapists use the therapeutic powers of play to help clients prevent or resolve psychosocial difficulties and achieve optimal growth and development.” - Association for Play Therapy.

Synergetic Play Therapy®
Synergetic Play Therapy® honors both the therapeutic powers of play, the science that governs relationship, and the development of the therapist, recognizing that it is ultimately the interplay between these three systems that support deep transformation for both therapist and child.

Gestalt Play Therapy

“Gestalt Play Therapy is a process whereby the child's energy can find its intended direction—in the service of meeting the ongoing developmental and growth needs. Such fulfillment brings the child into more nurturing interactions with all of life.” - Felicia Carrol. Carroll, F. (2009). Gestalt Play Therapy. In K. J. O'Connor & L. D. Braverman, Play therapy theory and practice: Comparing theories and techniques (2nd ed., pp. 283–314). John Wiley & Sons Inc.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Teens (MBSR-T) teaches mindfulness skills and provides tools for pre-teens, adolescents and even young adults. MBSR-T takes a mind-body approach and focuses on the whole person. Teens often have difficulty with their social skills, emotions, confidence, procrastination, impulsivity, and attention. MBSR-T can improve functioning and quality of life, socially, physically, and psychologically.
